CPA / Enrolled Agent

Champion Tax Relief, Inc. is currently seeking a CPA or Enrolled Agent with at least 3 years of experience to join our Case Resolution team!  If you have a passion for assisting taxpayers in solving some of their most pressing tax issues, consider applying with us.

Job Description

You will be responsible for managing and conducting all contact with federal and state taxing authorities.  Further, you will work directly with our clients to diagnose their tax issues, offer and execute solutions, and educate them about remaining in compliance.  You will also be responsible for managing a case assistant, and providing an extremely high level of customer service.

Qualifications

  • A licensed Enrolled Agent, or licensed CPA
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting; experience in tax resolution is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team management abilities
  • Strong focus on documentation, processes, and accuracy.
  • Must not be currently be or have ever been under suspension or disbarment by the Internal Revenue Service or state Board of Accountancy.

Administrative Assistant

Champion Tax Relief, Inc. is currently seeking an administrative assistant to help with office and client management.  This role is ideal for self-directed, detail-oriented individuals who excel at keeping things on track.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering and routing inbound calls from clients and others
  • Greeting and making clients feel welcome when they visit our office
  • Receiving and managing mail
  • Inputting inbound documents into the proper client file, and directing them towards the proper party.
  • General admnistrative support, including outbound calls, managing vendors, scheduling appointments, creating travel arangements, and more
  • Managing our client and marketing database
  • Creating mailers
  • Other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a CPA / law firm or other professional firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Computer-savvy
  • Extremely organized
  • Good people skills
  • High sense of discretion with client information
  • Highly ethical individual
